Read Your Fiction!

I have been doing a poetry show on BTR for a few weeks, with featured poets, call in readings, and discussion. We are going to try our first episode for fiction on March 1 at 9:00 p.m. EST and you are all welcome to call in and read! An archive will also be available after the show is recorded. Check out the episode page for show details, the call in number, and description. Contact: lynnalexander@fullofcrow.com. If you can’t listen online you can also use the same call in number to listen, just don’t select the option to go into the queue for readers if you want to listen only. It seems like we just went to print with the first issue, and we are already preparing for the second! We interrupt our regularly scheduled fiction to bring you this public service announcement: Submissions for Blink Ink Print will close on February 1. The next issue will be out by March 1. Please check out the submission guidelines HERE if you are interested in submitting. Thank you to everyone who submitted to the print edition of Blink|Ink. The issue should be done and available in the next few weeks. You should be hearing from Doug Mathewson, the editor of the print issues, very soon. If, for some reason, you do not hear back please feel free to inquire. Unfortunately, we could not publish every story received in the print edition but please consider submitting them for Blink Ink Online.

Submissions received now for Blink Ink Print will be held and considered for the next issue. Please read the guidelines on this page.

Featured Artists And Blink Ink Print

Featured Artists: Doug and I are excited to post our featured artists: Kim Copeland, Kristin Fouquet, Jeff Crouch, and Justin Dortwegt. You can take a look at their work here.

We accept submissions of short fiction for the online site on an ongoing basis, and appreciate your inquiries about photography and featured art. The guidelines for the print issue- edited by Doug Mathewson and produced on a quarterly basis- can be found here. You can also find information there about the print edition in general, such as the publication schedule and subscription information.Submissions for the upcoming Blink Ink print edition are now closed. Material received after this point will be considered for the next one. If you have any questions or concerns about your submissions or have general correspondence, contact: editors@blink-ink.com.

Thank you so much to all of you, writers and readers, for your support of Blink|Ink. Doug and I are excited to let you know that we are now accepting submissions of short fiction (around 50 words, or less) to the PRINT edition. If you are interested, please see the guidelines here, at Blink|Ink Print. Doug will be selecting stories for the print issue that we hope to send out December 1.
